This outcome is pretty simple and it just means to interpret evidence in research and draw conclusions about it. This outcome is very important in research as its summarizing your results and actually adding to it. This can range from anything like primary research to secondary research, which both don't mean much in one's own project unless analyzed.
Best Artifacts
The two best artifacts that showcase contributing knowledge are the and the ePortfolio work itself. The research paper easily meets this outcome by making me think about what all of the primary and secondary actually means. It makes me fit all of the puzzle pieces together and draw new conclusions that weren't discovered/talked about in the secondary research alone. The ePortfolio/outcome work helped me understand and meet contributing knowledge by me thinking about detail or artifact that supports each outcome. Each page of the ePortfolio required interpretation of assignments like the research project or annotated bib. I had to analyze each one to spot which outcome was met or mainly described in each. Luckily, most assignments actually met most, if not all, of the outcomes. However, there are still "best" artifacts for each one, and this processes let me dig into each one.
