Research Genre Production is us writing about certain genres and using specific academic and non-academic resources/research that actually matter to that genre. This means that in our research project it would be writing about a specific genre, for me it's AI, and then incorporating the sources I found.

The main artifacts that pertain to research genre production are the main research project and the . Both of these directly target this outcome. Starting off with the annotated bibliography, it makes us locate academic sources and then start summarizing it and thinking about it. This is not purely the information literacy outcome because we will also have to incorporate it into our essay which means that we'll have to make it fit the genre. This task helps me understand and meet the outcome by breaking down exactly how this would help my genre research. Moving on to the main research project, being very similar, it meets and helps understand this outcome. It contains several sections like the analysis where we have to look at certain constraints (set by our research question) to identify how the research matter for the communities. Specifically for my project, I'll have to think about how to incorporate different genres like jobs or art in my AI focused project. It'll obviously matter to these reddit communities since they have real-world impact on how they would enhance or be obstructed by AI.
